I told my beloved that I was, with my limited play time, going out for a little tarp practice. When she pointed out that I've been using tarps for years and probably had experience with most practical configurations for my use, I realized something new.
What I was actually practicing is adaptability. Even though I have three "go-to" tarp configurations I am comfortable with, site conditions seem to make each outing unique. Variations in wind direction and tree orientation always require some customization, which is a sort of puzzle to solve.
Here is a short video to illustrate one way maximize the value of limited play time.
Of course, my ability to solve the site conditions tarp puzzle required a coffee brew up test, which received a passing score.
