She likes to walk, and I like to ride. We both like to be together. It is common for us to blend these activities in a shared outing.
For example, we'll load up bike and dogs and head to the grasslands. We'll start down a trail together, and while she walks at a steady pace, I'll go forward, come back, go forward, walk into the woods to scout a future camp spot, come back, then go to the next fork in the trail and make sure we go the same direction.
This process repeats several times because this lady can cover some miles.
I can carry enough water for all of us.
Sometimes we stop midway for snacks. Other times, like today, we complete the route, find a pleasant spot, have a snack, and linger before heading home.
Today, we ended at a pine surrounded pond...and yes, of course...coffee was brewed.
