A rare two ride day. Perfect weather showed up when I had unusual flexibility. Loads of good light out there.

What a good bench view! Looks like you and the new rig are getting along well? I recently built up a Crust Evasion on a lark, so it's my fat tire drop bar bike for now, but I'm planning to swap frames to a Stooge Rambler when the next batch comes (summer 2026) as it'll fit me and my needs a little better. I do love the comfort and capability of these XC-tire equipped drop bar bikes.
Jason, thanks for checking in! As my buddy, Bryan, said, “It feels like the bike I’ve always wanted” It is ideal for my kind of outings. If the bike can’t handle it, I wouldn’t be able anyway. Your last sentence says it, “comfort and capability. I’ll check your IG feed to see the Evasion and eagerly look forward to the Stooge Rambler.
You've also helped nudge me into updating my non-social media content, so please see jasonmytail.com/posts for my own ride blog! I also keep my flickr updated which I should link to my site too. I still use IG but am actively looking to de-meta my life. Plus, I appreciate the longer format of a blog, in an age where our attention spans are ever-shortening.
Excellent! There’s a lot of cool stuff there! I just added a page to my website to begin collecting links to blogs, including yours. Maybe there are more folks in that realm than I realize.
