Two weeks from today Bryan and I will begin our climb into the mountains west of Sante Fe, NM.
I try to convince myself that I can prepare, but I'm never prepared. Real mountains are always so much harder than anything accessible to me. So these rides I do beforehand, they're mostly just for fun, with just a little extra meaning layered on...a sort of anticipatory countdown. Four hours closer.
